Meta Plans 4 New Smart Glasses Models and 10 Million Wearable Sales in H2 2026

An internal memo from Meta's VP of wearables, Alex Himel, has leaked revealing the company's most ambitious wearables push yet: four new smart glasses models and an AI-powered pendant, all targeting the second half of 2026, with a goal of selling 10 million wearable devices before year-end.

The Four New Models

• Modelo: The first to launch, potentially as early as June 2026. Little is known about the design beyond its codename.
• Luna: Expected this fall alongside the RBM2 Refresh

AI Agent and Subscription Plans

The memo also mentions a new AI agent called "Hatch" coming to Meta glasses, along with a business-focused subscription service called "Wearables for Work." Future models codenamed "Artemis" and "SSG" (supersensing glasses) are reportedly in testing.
